Hello, I am Rain Cloud!I am a high school student and I enjoy drawing! I started taking art more seriously this year, but I have been drawing since 2021. (I blame ArtifiSoap for getting me into robots)

I mainly drew traditionally, but I am now switching between it and digital art. Q: What softwares do you use?

  • Ibis Paint X (mobile) and Krita (computer) for drawing digital art/digitalizing traditional art and animation

  • Alight Motion for tweening

  • CapCut for video editting

  • All the resources I use are free because I'm broke!

Q: What hardware do you use?

  • For traditional, I generally just use a pen/pencil and paper

  • For digital, I mainly use my Wacom One (Gen. 1), but sometimes I used my phone (Pixel 9 Pro XL) or my dad's tablet (Galaxy Tab S7 FE).

  • For tweens, I also use my phone and my dad's tablet.

  • There are definitely cheaper setups out there, so don't just buy blindly if you do.

Q: Who or where do you get your inspiration from?

  • I usually get my inspiration from Pinterest and Instagram, but sometimes YouTube and just the outside world in general.

  • As who my inspirations are, they are ArtifiSoap, Orb, shar, and pikat!

Q: What inspired you to draw?

  • I really like drawing early on, but I gave up during middle school and didn't draw much. After seeing that that was not what I wanted (as well as seeing other artists), I started to take up art more seriously last year!

Q: Why did you start a YouTube channel?

  • I initially started my YouTube channel to showcase my artwork and now it has evolved to showcasing tweens! I am in the process of making more long-form content because I'd like to return to showcasing my art, but school has taken a toll on me, so I will make them over the summer.

Q: Can you draw mel?

  • I might in the future, but not right now because I'm not that confident in my abilities.
